This morning we started with a bus tour through Warsaw seeing the Place of Science and Culture as well as where the embassies are and Royal Way, a prestigious street in Warsaw (similar to Rodeo Drive or Park Ave). We reached the 'Old town' and walked through Castle Square and Market Square. 85% of Warsaw was demolished in World War 2 and has been completely restored to what it looked like before the war. I stopped and watched a great group of 9 guys all dressed in 1920s clothes singing and with one on drums, and others play guitar, ukelele and what looked like a mandolin. Raewyn had a very good pumpkin soup but Pieter had Granny mushroom soup which was contained in a bread. It sounds weird but it really nice. We walked to the bus station, a short distance with the backpacks. We had some nice seats because there was no one behind us. ...

... This guy Jonathan in his late 20's. He gave me tons of help and gave me the back story of Warsaw and why he's been here for 6 years after living in Chicago. But truly Warsaw is that little gem you never hear about because it's overshadowed by Berlin, Rome, Paris and the likes. I honestly think this place will be a huge tourist hot spot in a few years and be on TV as the new European place to go. Ok off to see Robocop.
