Last day before I head home. Second lazy day. We have a late breakfast and then head out for a walk to the local shops to buy supplies for lunch; pane, formaggio and prosciutto. I go for a walk around the village, the first time I've done this this week. There are horses grazing around the village, the sun is out and it is lunchtime so there is no one else walking ...

Might have time to get a pretzel as well ...

... August and September of 1944 the Allies took control of the area which saw the retreat of the Germans. It is a beautiful village, lovely stone walls and a couple of friendly cats! We have a cuppa and a chat with one of the locals. He points out a town on the next hill, Tavuillia, and tells us that it is the birthplace of Valentino Rossi. We drive through it a bit later on our way to the walled castle town of Gradara. Tavuillia is decked out in yellow banners ...

... We watched the Angriest man in Brooklyn which was one of if not the last movie Robin Williams did before his death and knowing how he passed the movie was an eerie peek into what was happening to him.

We finished the opened bottle of wine that night and had take away pizza the size of a house from downstairs for dinner. It was a relatively cruisey sort of day but that’s just what the doctor ordered. Not doctor dick he can **** right off.

    The next morning ...
