Na de afvaart gaan we naar onze cabine en bellen de hutsteward om te vragen of hij de verjaardagscake nog in de koelkast staan heeft. Hij brengt ze ons meteen. We genieten op het balkon van de lekkere taart en het mooie weer.

... up ( and I do mean up) to the cave opening, then down several hundred steps, then back up. The cave felt pretty good as it is almost as hot as Kansas here. We then did a city tour, and then back to the resort to swim and just enjoy the evening. Today we are doing something with sea turtles, learning Greek dances and getting a little beach time. ... later (all downhill mind you and what goes up must come down…) we found the Laundromat – it was closed until May. Oh great, so about turn and back up we go. So after a good hard walk for over an hour we achieved nothing. Pretty sure that Big Dora has never walked this in her life, but there are no hard feelings it’s Big Dora.

*SIGH* what an excellent nights sleep, a good 12 hours! The sun was shining and the sky was clear blue so it was straight into swimmers and down to the pool as we had missed brekky (oops!). The sun was HOT, it was so nice to be lying, relaxing and soaking it up. A volley ball match was arranged and we couldn't resist. Gary and I were on the same team – The All Blacks, go figure considering everyone else at the hotel ...
