... raw ingredients included noodles (4 or 5 different kinds… we enjoyed the fresh-cut green spinach noodles), dumplings (pork and kimchi), fried tofu, green onions, Korean celery (with big green leaves), onions, sliced beef, squid, baby octopus, this stuff that looked like intestine but was tender once cooked, and these little green knobby egglike things. ... blue and I wanted black. After much shopping, I was very exhausted.

We finally headed back to the hotel. We attempted to walk back, but didn't quite make it. So we ended up taking a taxi back.

Then we got ready for bed and crashed. It was a good day... a tiring one, but a good day.

... because Australia is a bloody dry country, depending on where you lived. I grew up in the dry part, and we were experiencing the worst drought in the history of the country. So hearing that rain will fall almost continuously for a month, I thought they were pulling my leg.

So far, it has been raining for two days straight, with more forecast over the weekend. This really puts a dint in the plans to head down to the beach, amongst other normal ...
