This morning, after some breakfast ice cream we headed south, destination Cagliari. The drive was smooth, scenic, and filled with grazing sheep. I used some leftover points to get us a room at a Holiday Inn close to the airport.

Last night we stopped in Nuoro, not the most interesting or exciting of places but it worked out well itinerary-wise.
It's a town a bit smaller than Bundaberg with around 35,000 people and only one taxi. Luckily we don't mind taking off on foot when we have stopped for the night. Wherever we have been we have also been used to seeing 'ristorante pizzeria' signs absolutely everywhere. And usually when we only wanted a cafe to get a coffee or a cold drink. In fact, ...

... Under the cathedral is a crypt which is made of the most amazing inlaid marble, it is quite exquisite. By now, many of the people on the ships have heard about "those poor Aussies that got robbed" and quite a few people stop to check how we are going.
