... as a few stalls selling local wine and cheeses and preserves. The produce is beautiful and so well presented,it does put our local market to shame. There is also a wine shop selling local table wine at €3 per litre! And we spot 2 crew members on laptops outside the market so we know there is free wifi so we catch up on our emails.

Trip to Blaye
... inside where they had made the garrison buildings into bars restaurants and even a hotel ! Lovely site
After being dissappointed with the campsite we planned on staying we made our way a bit further down the coast to this small village. The site is right in the middle of farmland really quiet and not many pitches taken so we have the site nearly to ourselves. The plan is to stay here for a few days and enjoy the peace and the warm sunshine, yes it eventually came out today with the temp about 28 degrees in the sun with the forecast to get hotter. ...
