Porto-vecchio Corsica
Another sleepless night where we both tossed and turned. Up to brekky where ka tried boiled eggs but they were too runny. How disappointing. The weather is about 23 so we have decided that after the crossword well go on on the tender boat at 11am to see what there is to see. Nothing much as it turns out. ... and to see some friends. I’ll still be working during the day obviously but will be great to get out and about in the evenings. Do feel a bit like I’ve been stuck in boarding school for a month and am about to be let out for the weekend! We fly to Canada (Montreal) on the 14th and then pretty much follow the tour staying in New York, Chicago and finally LA. I am so excited as other than New York, they will all be first time ...
Peace at last...
... now and then. As the beach wasn’t an option for the first time, I took the car out for a little drive around the surrounding villages. I have been through Cannigione many times so was great to park up and wonder around. It is a quaint seaside village with some lovely shops and cafes. Oh and surprise, surprise some lovely beaches.
