... Nice town but not as good as the others. I've got about a million photos of the day. Unfortunately it's quite hazy so they won't show how beautiful this region is. Anyway, got organised with info etc. The Internet is a bit hit and miss. Then went out to ...

... views: snow covered Alps, Como from above and Milan in the distance. We take in the scenery along with lots of pictures. With many fewer passengers on the way down, we have more mobility and I am able to get a good picture of the Duomo from above.

After panini in a bar by the water, we set out for a second look at the 13th C. Romanesque San Fedele. We cannot get inside but we learn from a sign on the portico that Jackson ...

... dry goods, there is a stall selling a large array of stylish, colorful Italian kitchen ware. Hermetic sealing caps in three sizes were literally 'flying off the table'; a set flew right into my hands.

Dinner at Terzo Crottol was perfect; a salad caprese followed by beefsteak Florentine (I'd forgotten how good it was), and a chocolate bomb for Bob (with a spoon for me-he who orders the dessert gets the ...
