After a less than pleasant night, John had a late breakfast and we checked out. Apart from the food episode it was a great place to stay and we would recommend the Grand Imperiale Hotel as a good place to base yourself to see Lake Como (but don't eat at Cafe Bellini - a couple of doors down!) We had a wonderful flight with Delta! Kelly and I had our own row and were served dinner, snacks, breakfast & even some cheap vino while spending the hours watching free movies on our personal TVs and snoozing with complimentary eye pillows and ear plugs. ... we couldn't seem to find any bars or even a trattoria to rest our weary legs and quench our thirst. After a further unintended walk through what we can only assume was Milan's ghetto (!), we found ourselves on our way back to our hotel. We figured that surely there would be some restaurants or pizza shops near there... Wrong again! We did however find a very cheap pizza place that served us 2 massive pizzas and a carafe of Lambrusco ...
