... were looking forward to the experience, but I never imagined you could fit so many beds in one room! There are 16 bunk beds in an approximately 10x25 room. Mattresses all touch each other, so you could easily find yourself halfway in someone else's in the morning. Toilets and showers are communal downstairs. We left our luggage by our bed and went downstairs to have some dinner. We ordered pizza and a typical swiss meal. Bread ...

The weather predicted rain at 5pm and it was 4pm, so we were hoping to make it back to Interlaken ...

We hiked an hour from Murren to the neighboring town of Gimmelwald and ate our convenience store picnic lunch of bread, cheese, and bologna with a gorgeous view of the Swiss Alps. The second leg of our trip, from Gimmelwald to Stechelberg, was supposed to take about an hour but the steep incline, picture taking, and lack of clear directions on the paths ...

... train stops twice along the way for about 20 as itg climbs the peak so you can get used to the altitude)…after the train station we grabbed some coffee and then decided walk to the top of a mountain that was near by. We got about half way and it started pouring with rain. We decided to walk back to the hostel as it was getting late and there was a festival happening at the hostel sight. I was kind of glad we made out way back as I was super tired from ...
