    ... cause the temperature had gone up to 28 again and the sun strong. We went back to the camping about 100 m from the beach around 7, had a shower and made some pasta which is always a good camping food, easy and tasty.     ... every balcony and every roof, the little gardens are full of flowers and every so often you look down a little alleyway to your right and catch a glimpse of the bay beyond. Everywhere were these little raised stone huts, which at first we thought were shrines, then dovecots, and eventually decided must have been for storage, raised to keep away rats.

    ... and if it hadn't been for the fact that we were waiting for a package to arrive for us in the marina here in Vilagarcia we might well not have left.

    However we've also had a wander around Vilagarcia today, which isn't stupefyingly lovely but is perfectly pleasant, and has some strikingly attractive bits in its parks. We'll probably hang around this ria for a few more days then head south to the next one, Ria de Pontevedra, for more lazing around in the sun.

    ... the Gothic Santo Domingo church and the beautiful Renaissance Basilica de Santa Maria. The latter was a very busy operation and obviously keeping up with the times. I had to chuckle at a sign on the notice board inside outlying how parishioners could keep up with church events through their website, Facebook, Blogspot, and even Twitter! I had a delicious lunch in the pretty Praza da Lena, which in days gone by was the old firewood ...
