... in Europe. Back onto the bus for a number of hours to Lucerne for a free night. Mum and I walked to the river Reuss where we found an expensive dinner of an entree salad for Mum and an entree cannelloni for me costing roughly $60AUD. Unfortunately when we got back to the hotel I noticed that my computer had crashed, so looks like no photos can be added to this blog after ...

... For dessert we got a castle looking ice cream with a flag in the top. Chris and I kept putting our flags in each others ice cream. ... Zoo. At a steep price 22CHF, it was worth it. It's a 20 minute tram ride out of the city centre, but you will get whisked into the animal world, where nearly every continent is represented. The zoo is still expanding, but right now you can see tigers, elephants, lions, camels, rhinos, goats and more! I really felt like a kid again just in awe of the different animals available to visit. ...

... and the noise of people below. I then headed out about 7:00 and went to the Mercado, an Italian place that is one of my old standbys, having been there just about every time I am in town. It is just shy of being a chain type of place, but the service and prices are always good and the food is not bad. I decided for the first time not to get a pizza, instead I ordered a mixed salad and lasagna. The salad was great and the lasagna was good, different than back ...
