      ... many bikes as people, so the tourist must be very wary not to step into the designated bike path.       ... It drizzled, but didnt pour until the late afternoon and we had gumboots so nothing could stop us. We spent the next hour paddling around the canals, exploring another side of this awesome city. Paddling on the canal bikes was a little difficult at first, until we realised that there was no point trying to go fast, it's easier if you go with the flow - of the canal.
