We purchased a combination ticket to visit the Heraklion Archeological Museum and the Knossos Palace. The hotel is well situated for this, as the Museum is on the same block, and Knossos could be visited by bus which could be caught on the same block. ...

I know our vision is slightly clouded by excitement.. but they definitely are very good quality as we get to taste now & then. You are so right Manuela...self catering is going to be a struggle to slip back into!
