Long drives along Dalmatian Coast

Ice hockey
we stoped in Pula to say hello to Marco (old business partner of Dide) and it turned out that there was an international hockey tournament taking place in the collesiem (almost 2000 years old) between Croatia and Russia - what a treat.
Finally, made our way down to Metcovic, just in time for one day of sun on the beach, before the rain - forcast for the next couple of days.
More to follow as i need to sign off now as we need to get the car back to Metcovic.

High speed ferry to this beautiful town
We took the hydrofoil ferry from Venice first to Pula in Croatia and then to Rovinj. The ferry travels about 140 kilometres to Pula and then a further 40 or so to Rovinj doing the whole trip in 2 and a half hours. This boat moves quite quickly.

Traversée de l’Italie, nuit du 30 au 31
Partis la veille de Marseille vers 18h, notre tentative de traverser l’Italie de nuit et rallier la cote Croate sera de courte durée puisqu’à 2h du mat’, décidant de faire une petite pause sieste, celle-ci finira 3h plus tard au levé du jour sur une aire d’autoroute on ne sait où.
