Had a wonderful stay at Interlaken/ringgenburg with Martin, Lenka, Niels, and Erik. We got up and had breakfast and got on the road for Genova (Geneve) around 10.30. It seems ironic that our travelling days are either overcast or raining, today it's raining. The people in the area we have stayed in speak German. However the road signs getting closer to Genova have changed to French, the signs changed around ...

We had a really good rest and Martin spent time with us telling us tourist information. We were late getting out of the apartment as the screen was frozen on the IPad. Martin hooked the Ipad up to his P.C. the problem being a system update needed installing. Martin fixed the problem with the IPad. Arriving into Interlaken was very beautiful too, it is between two alpine blue lakes with peaks of snowy mountains. From there we got a short train up the mountains to a valley at 2612ft and the town of Lauterbrunnen. ... got panache. We really wanted to try fondue in Switzerland, but it was too much of one thing by itself...it started to make us feel a little sick and needing protein. So, we asked for the chicken nuggets and French fries from the kids menu, but she refused saying “its for children, I can't serve it to you” so we had to order the chicken breast with French fries and salad (which costs more).
