    ... It is an enchanting small historic town with strange shops i.e. designer clothing, kitchen accessory shops, 2nd hand book shop and some restaurants, 2 museums but no general store. There is nowhere for locals to buy provisions, except in Middelburg.

    We arrived in Bruges in the rain, then it rained and rained! We got the bus into the centre of town and had barely got into the square before we were soaked through - it was miserable!     Today we thought we would see a little bit of country land Holland. Netherlands isn't just the red light district and weed! Who would’ve thought hey?! We went to Alkmaar Schermerhorn.
