classes, after the students had finished asking me their questions,
they would then take turns introducing themselves to me. They have
all been learning about identity. When they get to the part about how
many pets they have, it is insane how many kids have said they have
cats. And not just one cat, 5, 7, 12. Not kidding, 12 cats, I can’t
believe it. I hope this kid lives on ...

We woke to torrential rain. In fact much of the night was torrential rain so it was no surprise we were next to a very large puddle. After breakfast in the camp common room we were sent to Bages , a tiny village where, to our amazement, there was a bike shop with the right size tyre and inner tube for P&Ps tandem - phew! A slightly early start this morning - misreading of watch with backlighting got us up by 6.30! Impressive or what! 8.20 kick off and we shopping in Bordeaux by 10. Bouliac has an impressive shopping centre for all our food shopping requirements, a bike shop for Pat and Pam's overshoes, and a coffee brew up next to the shopping centre car park! We had a smooth journey through Bordeaux before lunching by a lake whilst the tents dried. ...
