Cycling back to the coast for a day off

A travel blog entry by gemandkory

... ran out to tell us to come to their shop, rather than the one next door. It was good for me to practice my really bad Spanish on them and I managed to tell them that I wanted a cold, juice drink and to ask them if they had anything like that. Humming Along the Pan Americana

A travel blog entry by ronamoon

... and it was such a pleasant spot away from the maddening crowd on the highway we stayed two nights. The Pan Am was below us and the traffic thrums up and down in an almost continuous line of lights, but luckily you could hardly hear it.

Our 'quiet time' here was shattered when a local school came to visit. There were a hundred kids or so and while we initially tried to go about our work we gave up ... and there was no escape! ...
