... like Lisol like Emmelie and I have experienced in Equador and everything is old, but the man is friendly and the sheets are clean. A powerfailure lasts for three hours so we are not sure the airco works. We walk across the street to swim in the sea and have a beer. The sea is warm like a bathtub. ... with all the fish. The vis was not that great but we could see all the life below. We then went to a spot were the lodge was growing young coral to be replanted. It was amazing as vivian dove down into the a bis and then came up again lifting the rack higher closer to the sunlight for the young coral to grow. Amazing work they are doing here a the Sanguare lodge and reserve.

... to talk to someone at the lodge it was called the Sanguare. We finally booked it for 4 night and decided to leave Cartagena a day early as we had done pretty much everything we could think of there. Cartagena is great but old town and restaurants are good for maybe 3 days
then you look for things to do.

We hired a van to take us on the 3 hour ride (on really poor roads) south ...

... amongst Colombians during the high season which is two weeks during January, but dead the rest of the year. They don't get a lot of tourists and backpackers as most people tend to go out to the islands by Cartagena, so we got a lot of stares and found very limited English there. Tolu is a stepping stone for a set of 10 islands out from the town, the islands of San Bernado, which technically are Caribbean islands ...

I visited the local cemetery today. Rich, poor, from all cultural backgrounds, the different tombs in the columbarium, decorated in the most frivolous or serene ways,but… all dead, equally dead!
From some of these "boxes" one can reconstruct easily the drinking habits of the "inhabitant: mini wine bottles, Johnny Walker, Rum and Coke, Ciudad Real,… or when it was a child, ...
