... we decided to walk around town and head along the shore till we came to a lovely wide beach, the beach in town is little more than a foot wide and just below the concrete boardwalk. The town itself is bigger than we though and stretches along the coast line for quite a while, there's a main square with a church and soccer courts in the center. So the zoo consisted of badly looked after animals, to the point that they were keeping a freshwater crocodile in salt water. The animals were random including a water buffalo, ostrich, monkeys, and aquariums that hadn't been cleaned in forever. What made it more odd was that they had a pirate ...

Beach town Colombia style

... with every shop appearing to be in competition for having the biggest set of speakers out the front and even the hybrid bike taxis were equip with 15inch subs! All this resulted in the town-wide sound track of a mish mash of 90s classics, cheesy house tunes and dodgy Latin-American rap.
