      ... deals!). It seemed like a shame to be heading home so early in the night when you're in Amsterdam, but being in bed watching tv (what a novelty) is exactly the kinda mood I'm in today. The ice bar would be fun, and good value for money, where for around €18 you get entry and three drinks. I've saved some discount tickets in case I get back here with my friend Katrina in the next couple of months. So all in all, I think my mood prevented me from enjoying Amsterdam ...

      ... saw a sign Coffee Shop (dope) then Lynne reminded me we wanted Coffee Cafe luckily there was one opposite. Lost count of how many times we nearly got run over by cyclists. Just before we left for the boat finally saw a bike stack after numerous near misses all day. Now on board the spaceship being absolutely spoiled. Have own butler who will bring morning coffee for us before breakfast. Our room is next to the gym which is next to the dining room. Not sure which room will get ...

      ... which is where all Dutch royalty has been married and crowned since time immemorial. A walk down the Damrak towards the Central Station proved difficult with all the people advancing. It is quite daunting, the number of tourists in this s city.....thousands!! Just proves travel is alive and well A side trip down one of the many alleys found us on another canal and the chance visit to one of Amsterdam's oldest museums. It takes the name of "Our Lord in the Attic" ...

      ... back to the Anne Frank house. It was really incredible to see and to read all about how they survived for 2 years in this tiny space until they were betrayed. It was also really sad that she died only a month before her concentration camp was liberated. Her poor father was the only one who survived - it must be very sad to be the only member of your family still alive.
