Finishing our holiday in Amsterdam leaves us wanting more - and maybe that's the way it should be. It's been fun - now back to all the familiarity of Mullum - and that's fun too.

metres below high tide. The water is managed on farms by big ditches
which drain the land and keep stock from each paddock – no fences.
The houses in Amsterdam are narrow and tall to save on tax and often
lean as a result of the soil they are built on.

weather remains warm but a bit misty, very pleasant conditions for
our hour long cruise on the waterways at 6.30pm, followed by a guided
