The first few days here I felt pretty out of place and thought I would seriously go bananas if another person asked or talked about how many pitches, jugs, dihedrals, ropes, etc... Over the last week, the influx of people has become a very endearing tribe of people to me. I will miss my morning routine of unzipping the sleeping bag and tent. A nice walk through the orchard to the bathroom, a morning cup of tea in the kitchen as I send these blogs and watch the sun ...

I made a sopa de refigerator for dinner- threw all of our left overs into a big pot and simmered! rice, hominy, pork, beef, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, cilantro, onion, garlic. All and all, not bad!!! :-) The night ended with a perfect impromptu bonfire on the back 9 of the property. A right good bohemian sing along around a large crackling hot prehistoric tv set.
