A day of cold and hot
... to bottom by heavy snow and by the time I reach the summit the temp is a freezing -2 Celsius. The views from up here are amazing and certainly worth coming all this way for. Along the way there are ample viewpoints and parking bays for tourists but they are all still covered in snow and ice so no ways was I taking my bike in there. I simply had to park it at the edge of the road and hope that some speed freak in a car did not smash into it!!

Stranded in St Moritz
... walking the streets at all. Each and every shop is closed; the place is totally dead to say the least!!! The only people walking the streets were tourists such as myself who I suspect were also wondering why everywhere was closed!! Ok yes it is Sunday but surely there must be a few small shops and cafe's open?? No, there was not a single shop open in this whole town.

Sunshine and snow in the Alps
... gear and my heated hand grips I don’t feel in the slightest bit cold. As I get closer to the summit at 2224m the snow is packed all along the side of the road and certain parts of the road are covered in snow drift making it rather dangerous for me to ride through.

After a pleasant sleep and hearing the rain stop early in the night we ambled out of our tent to blue skies! Rhys now in an instant good mood we packed up camp, leaving the tent till last as it was still very wet.
