Home of chocolate and coffee

A travel blog entry by bulaska

We began our stay in Antigua by exploring the suburbs :-) Our CS host, Fredy, own a motorbike rental agency and he took us on a bike tour. As I have no idea of driving a scooter and don't really like it, I went with him. After this we decided to check out the chocolate factory which was recommend to us by the hostel reception lady. On arrive the smell was amazing better than Cadbury world by miles. ...

From the 4000m high summit you can see much of Guatemala stretching before you and you get front row tickets to the sound and light show of active volcano Fuego next door. The thought of waking up on top of this volcano for my birthday was far too alluring and I hoped it would dampen the feeling of growing older just ...
