After a seven hour bus ride we arrived in Antigua. It was late afternoon and we were pretty hungry so we headed out to a bakery and enjoyed some fresh healthy food for what ended up being a late lunch, early dinner. We spent the evening wandering around town and enjoying delicious homemade ice cream - strawberry & red wine ...

What makes Antigua so appealing is the cities colourful buildings, cobblestoned streets and colonial churches all sitting beneath the uncompromising backdrop of Volcan de Agua. Truly a stunning city.
