    ... me to the closest hotel and asked them to get us a taxi to take us back to our hotel. How nice that people will do that without being snarky that you are not staying in their hotel. Took our taxi 10 minutes to get there but the ride back was quick and nice and every so gentle on my knee.

    ... on my knee. I get a call in a few minutes and the group will be walking to the river shortly. While I so much want to go, I am thinking to be prudent and keep off the knee for awhile so I never get to see the river in spate. such a shame.


    Later she calls to check on dinner and there is just no way I can walk to a restaurant somewhere and sit for 2 1/2 to 3 hours while everyone eats and drinks. I'm on my second ice pack. So ...
