In the afternoon we went for a great bike ride through the countryside and explored some forest on foot (which ended up in a large broccoli field!) When we got back we played and intense game of Scrabble and then relaxed in the spa soaking up the view down the valley. Emily has some home made potato and leek soup on the stove which we will have with some fresh baguette for dinner, just ...

... next stop was the brand new Aeroscopia Aircraft Museum which only opened last week. This museum is dedicated to all types of aircraft both military and civilian. Toulouse is a natural location to have a museum such as this, considering that Airbus is based here and is the major employer in the city. The museum is impressive to say the least! It has an amazing collection of aircraft including ...

... Nice at 6.50am the following morning. It wasn't the cheapest option but it was the closest, which was important given the scheduled departure time.

We checked in to the 'Garden Hotel' and then headed in to town for a little gander. We enjoyed a beer and a wine while admiring a castle and then wandered around the cool, old streets. I was approached by a guy on his bucks party. He was dressed in like a yellow and black prison costume and it took me ...
