... After Toon Town we decided to try to get in a few more rides. The first one on Callie's list was the Tea Cups so I decided to let Kerry go with her and I went on the matterhorn. :) There was a bit of a line up to Matterhorn so they got 4 teacup rides in to my one Matterhorn. ... someone special .. it's going to be a long tough road I bet! I do hope to take a few weeks off to get over to England this next year to visit all my traveling friends. Katie (Liverpool girl who I met in London in entry 1) wants me to go to South America with her next year. If i can save the $ and get the time off I'm there. Becki (Also my Liverpool friend I met when I met Katie see entry 1) wants to start a tradition of me coming there or her coming here every year ...

... after a few back streets, turn up at "the Smog father", a smog testing station. A false start because we went in the incorrect direction, but being redirected, we left "the Castle" to be tested and walked to find a coffee, (much required by this time) Had the morning tea break, wandered back to the smog test place to find the Castle was finished and was passed. So time to wait, and wait, and wait! Yep it took around 1.5 hours waiting; we walked into a diner for a hamburger ...

... renting. The roof has a view looking over the beach. Very impressive! We left there and headed back to Dave's for a BBQ and eventually said goodbye to him at about 11pm. A nice day hanging out with the locals who were great fun and gave us hilariously cynical insights into life in LA. The next day, I took the tourist bus while Michael went shopping. Tour bus wasn't great. Saw where Brad Pitt stood dressed up as a chicken though..and then we knew it was definitely time to get out of there!

... it? After trying hundred of combination, I finally found it for $2000. There is no regret for going to such an amazing place in the middle of nowhere. I will be spending a lay-over of 12 hours in Santiago for a quick tour before I head out to Easter Island. A short trip but the memory will certainly last a life time. Enjoy the photos. Andrew :)

Packing for a trip to France and Monaco in November was a little tricky. I was dealing with cool weather (55- 65F) reports, lots of waliking, and an upscale party scene.  Especially when I knew I was going to be going to the World Music Awards and had to look fabulous 24-7.  Another big planning obsticle was packing NICOLITA bikinis and our marketing displays to showcase at the WMAs gifting suite. ... and we saw the parade for a final time, more rides then left and went back to Tony's Ribs for a fillet mignon and a couple of Bud's ... a great way to finish the day.<br><br>Our driver "Super Steve" is coming to pick us up tomorrow to take us to Manhattan Beach -- should be an interesting ride. Am missing vegetables and am over orange cheese already.. :)

... with us a deck of cards since we had an hour and a half to kill. Our card game attracted the attention of these four young teenagers behind us and before long, we had a big game of blackjack going on.
