She would drag me upstairs after collapsing early morning at the foot of her stairs blind drunk on cheap Thai whisky, guiding me back to a hangover ...

We built a fire and roasted weiners and marshmallows, which was the perfect break from traditional german fare...even if they don't have relish, and only dijon mustard! And the crunchy french fried onions on the hotdogs was a little different too, and since when do weiners come in a jar! But anyway...it was good...even if the marshmallows were really goopy :) The kids had too ...

So Derek is in the UK, and I am in Germany.

Einen genauen Reiseverlauf gibt es eigentlich noch nicht, aber, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivien, Chile, Brasilien und vielleicht auch Kolumbien stehen ganz oben auf meiner Hitliste. Welche Länder ich schlussendlich bereisen werde könnt Ihr in den nächsten 365 Tagen verfolgen, wenn Ihr hier regelmäßig vorbeischaut. Am 22.08.2009 gehts los, Lima ich komme!!!

Day 21: Travelled to cologne where the Sturmats were at the train station to meet me. Abit of background.. me and larry met them on the ferry coming over from england and they invited me to stay for a couple of nights. There hospitality was amazing... After walking around Cologne for abit we drove to Wuppertal where the girl Antje will be going ...

Another foggy morning, and I really do not want to leave. However, we are off. Me back to Houston, Claudia back to work. A big resounding "BOO" from both of us! Germany was wonderful, and I highly recommend it to anyone ---> great food ...

... t too exciting, but it was nice to be doing normal day-to-day things with Claudia - pushing the shopping cart around, picking out what you want for dinner. Much better than online chatting . . .
Claudia made some goulash with pasta for dinner (YUM!) and I started to organize my things for the trip back. We realized that two weeks had gone by far too quickly. Tomorrow will be a day in Paderborn!!
