Hi we have had a very long day again today. Started at 6am. Lots of driving. We arrived in Brussells at 9am. Language is Flemish and French. The area is very flat and mainly agricultural. The city has the headquarters for NATO the Eu. There are 1.5 million people. Buildings are comprised of both modern and old. Some 300 years old. There is a very significant class distinction. ... general rule we have slept fine but last night the overwhelming smell of weed on people and smelly feet got to me a bit. A 2am I kinda wished I could have my own bed back with a real pillow!! But then I remind myself that I'm going to the land of free refills, free toilets, frozen yoghurt, motels, diners, great customer service, wifi, loads of cars and lots of English, and I feel better.
