... so we went on the beach linked to the hotel and had a very enjoyable swim and sat enjoying the sun. Another lovely day in paradise.Friday we had a very early get up,packed our passports, visas and Euros and off we went to Kos in Greece. We were picked up at 7.30am near our villa and after quite a few pick ups we ended up in the town centre where Daniel and Gill were waiting. We then set off to Bodrum picking up more people from different hotels on the way driving ...

We then had to wait until the Turkish Airlines ground staff delivered the documents back to us. We had left plenty ...

This week has been another enjoyable and relaxing time in Yalikavak, the good old Dolmus has got us around cheaply and on time to wherever we needed to go. On Monday after our morning swim we decided to do the coastal walk from the town centre around as far as we could go past the beaches and hotels. Being very hot this was quite a challenge so we had our first ice creams of the holiday to cool us down on our walk.....well at least that's our excuse, but they were very ...

... just any sized wall but at least 10 feet high! And then the word breeze popped up again in Orkney. Once again we were dressed in full winter gab, dry as a bone style coat to keep out the cold. Andrew, our delightful bus driver was in short sleeves and enjoying the warmth- after all this was the first sunny day in 2 weeks! Summer at last he said! And then he told us of the 1953 cyclone that hit the Orkney ...
