But the cathedral interior was impressive regardless.<br><br>By then it was after 5pm and everything was closed so we went back to Centrale to get our bags then headed to the sketchy hotel. ... the mouth one was the best - the food was excellent, I like good food and this was definitely that.   After lunch we headed over to La Scala which is one of the most famous opera houses in the world, where we were going to go inside and look at the auditorium, because it is supposed to be quite spectacular - however, this week it is closed for renovations, so it was not meant for our eyes this time.  Instead we decide to indulge in an ice cream - you CANNOT come to Italy ...

For the nerds likes me, let me tell you that the painting is not on a canvas but on the wall of the church (don't remember the name of the church) ... the experience was Wow... it almost felt that you were having dinner with Jesus and his group .. its costs about 25Euro per person ...

... class who talked about the opera. It was really interesting because I didn' t know anything about how they work. There is a lot more that goes into them and when we watched parts of one in class, I was able to understand it much better after being told how they really work! ... a few cool days in Switzerland we were glad to see the sun shining in Milano and temperatures in the 30's.
