Well we have arrived. We had a long overnight flight to Madrid and neither of us was able to sleep on the plane, so we were a little tired. We met Barb and Guy Mersereau at the airport and travelled together.

We had a long flight from Toronto to Frankfurt and then to Madrid. Usually we can sleep on an overnight flight, but not this time!

... my site seeing pals. They really made this trip! We laughed so much throughout the two days my abs hurt.

The first night we went out for tapas and sangria. The rain was really coming down so we just took our time. We exchanged lots of stories. It was really nice to have a proper meal with other people. It's been a while. Something you don't think about much but going out to dinner solo eventually gets a little lonely.
