... down it is raining, a lot.
But, we took a group trip on a boat to Rovinj where we had a tour and then stopped for "Hot Chocolate" which was really just melted chocolate with whipped cream on top, and it was delicious. On the boat on the way back to Pula we had a dance party while cruising through the big waves, which was quite the thrill.
We pass our days by counting ...

... he is asking me if I am ok every minute and wont let me get out of bed to do anything. We have spent three days just doing nothing in the room but on sunday we went out for a walk and I seem to be getting better at one point I think that I wanted to come home but what difference does it make being here or at home. We have some sunshine now and I can just relax.

I have slept for nearly 14 hours ...

Today was hell, I am writing this a few days later so just to let you all know I am much better now and will post the pics so you can see the damage when I get to a computer that lets me. I will explain what happened.

We got up and had decided that we where going to leave tomorrow as planned and move on to somewhere else so as the day was a little cloudy and raining Ian said why dont we go to Pula ...

As we said its getting colder now so we decided not to do much today as we both wanted to relax anyway after the hectic few weeks that we have had in Turkey greece and italy. So we just went for a walk in the harbour and had a look around its another pretty little harbour town with some cafes but its still really different from Italy. We found a supermarket and as we wanted ...

... for a few hours before heading to shore. We didn't' want to go alone so we asked any of the crew if they wanted to go with us. We ended up getting three of the stewies and one of the deckies to go with us. With only four people aboard the work load was very light, so they were able to go with us. We took the tender to shore and no one was on the beach where we landed, but there were more people scattered ...

Got up really early to take the girls to the airport so sad that Danielle is going but not got long on the trip to go now so waved her off and then we had to wait an hour to get a train to Florence then connect on a train to go to Trieste. As we said we are not going to Venice as we could not find anywhere to stay that was within budget that was not absolutly miles away from actual Venice so decided like Rome we can do that ...

... cyclable, qui devient un chemin, qui devient un sentier... jusqu'à ce qu'on perde sa trace! Nous continuons à l'aveuglette en suivant le littoral. L'eau turquoise nous attire comme un aimant, nous devons nous arrêtez pour piquer une tête!

En Croatie, maillots de bain, chaussures d'eau et masques sont nécessaires pour vaincre les rochers ...

We met Mauro Dujmovic for our private walking tour of Rovinj. We went past an amazing market with local produce, olive oil and souvenirs. We wound our way up through the old village to the top where the church was. The view of the sea was breathtaking. We then went for traditional Croatian coffee at a seaside cafe. Very strong.

... the main harbor. It looks much like an old Italian fishing village, with the same stucco homes, window shutters, flowerboxes, and simple wooden fishing boats.

The hilltop church of Saint Euphemia can be seen for miles, and overlooks the water and nearby islands. Legend says the sarcophogus of St. Euphemia floated onshore in Rovinj after ...

... and wine was just as good as in italy but for a fraction of the cost, there was this old-world european feel about the place: cobblestone streets, incredible architecture, flowers blooming in window boxes...and down at the end of every street you could dive straight into the sparkling green sea. heavenly!
