I am just going to tell our story and you judge for yourself how crazy we are. We know that we are not ordinary. Here is our story:
Margo and I met about four and a half years ago. Lars owed a condo on Golden Gate Point, Sarasota and Margo owned a townhouse close to TPC Golf Club. We both had a lot of stuff.

Finally I held a tennis racquet in my right hand again....it's been a long time, since February! And I was pretty rusty and not nearly up to form yet but it was good to put on the tennis shoes and get some red clay on my socks! That's all part of the charm of tennis in Spain.
We joined Montemar tennis club when we arrived in El Campello and Lars has enjoyed playing there many times but this was my first time on the courts.
After our very late arrival it wasn't til morning that we appreciated how nice our hotel was for the 63 Euro a night we had booked it for ( Thanks Agent Rates!) To top it off it had a roof top pool and terrace. We were positioned two blocks from the Marina so despite how tempting the pool was we decided to go explore the city.

... gazpacho and some tomato bread and Lars had a potato tortilla. We then shared an order of grilled green asparagus. It was a perfect summer lunch...light and refreshing.
We then walked back to the mercado to catch a tram for home. Hopefully we'll head for the beach soon...I think a dip in the Mediterranean would be a fine way to end our afternoon.
Of course we'll watch some US Open tennis this evening!
