    This morning we had breakfast at 07:00 so I could be on the road by 08:00. I thanked the Vernauds for their warm welcome and hospitality and started the four hour drive to Vichy.

    • Yes it is for so many reasons at so many levels
    • Lets start on getting the mast up the local robber wants 110 euros.
    • Or roughly four times what anyone else charged, in the next port they have quoted 35 euros still not cheap but within realistic expectations.

    ... to ourselves why would they have accommodation at the beach and not in town. Anyhow we drove the 20 odd kilometres to the beach and called in at the tourist office. We could not believe our luck the office was staffed with three people and all three were on the phones ringing around looking for accommodation for us..
