... which was on the beach. Once again we had our evening thunderstorm. We were only going to stay one night but didn't feel like another big drive today so we are staying 2 nights. They have a nice big pool and a sandy beach which the boys love. The sand is finer than Spain but is not like the white sand we have at home. It's more like fine dirt. Valras Plage, France. After leaving Capestang, we headed SE and on the recommendation of a very reliable source - a guy we'd just met for 10mins on one of the canal-boats, we decided to aim for Poihls, apparently a cute little village on the canal and not far away. We have decided to go to an aire at Latour-bas-Elne. It is a fabulous aire. It's situated behind a camping-car and accessory dealers. They also store caravans and camping-cars for owners who don't have space at their homes. It has security gates which lock between 9pm and 8 am. Just like a campsite, without the ...

    • Yes it is for so many reasons at so many levels
    • Lets start on getting the mast up the local robber wants 110 euros.
    • Or roughly four times what anyone else charged, in the next port they have quoted 35 euros still not cheap but within realistic expectations.
    • So its off to port Leucate ( if it's not ...
