The accommodation was simple but was made up for by the giant lawn with Mini-Golf course, free range chickens, and playground within walking distance. And FREE LAUNDRY!!! Viscos, Midi-Pyrénées, France kramertown... They are staying on the 6th floor, in a regular hotel room, with 3 beds - one for Grand-maman, one for Mimi, and one for Victoria. The ladies both snore, and it is very hot in the room, but Victoria really likes the view. "I can stand on the tiny deck and look at the river (le Gave de Pau) and watch the ducks." For those of you who know Annie Langlois, she met them at the hotel, and is staying in the room next door."
Lourdes, France vgap... while out of the stirrups if you get tiered. (providing you don't have a restless horse). I don't know if the horses will except other riding-styles. We tried to do it like were used to in belgium... steering with our legs and all... but that didn't work. steering is with the reins only... maybe it's the same with stirrup length? Jumblina is right that the saddles can occasionally hurt your thighs, but when this occured, I just put a fleece on my saddle for a while ...
