    ... each had a small sampling of gazpacho, pistachio cream over cous cous, some kind of custard and a lovely serving of caviar over some other fish roe. They were all delish, as were the cold beers. Eldon's concern is what this little tray of extras is going to cost us.

    We went back to the room and rested. Around 1:30 we got out our cheese and ham from yesterday and shared a bottle of wine.

    ... a grocery store about 10 minutes from our hotel and got a yummy cheese, smoked prosciutto, bread and a beautiful little piece of pork pate with black truffles in it. Our room wasn't ready so we walked across the street and sat on a bench over looking the Mediterranean sea. It was gorgeous. We just can't get over the colors of the water. It is so crystal clear. I'll bet the snorkeling is amazing here.

    ... premium price. It was clean and that is what matters the most for me.

    We got to the hotel too early for our room, so we drove into town for a little lunch. We each had a small beer and split a panini sandwich.

    We checked into our hotel at 3:00 and we both worked on our computers.

    ... no need for a tender. I must admit when I saw that we were going to Corsica I was a bit ambivalent about it.
