Today I walked around Athens and met many people and took many pictures. I learned some more myths and legends about Athens that you wouldn't find in the history book. I went to see the Panathenaic Stadium, which is a race track opened in 566 BC, and is still used today! The first modern Olympics were held in it in 1896 AD! I also went to see the Stoa of Attalos, A huge build project by King Attalos II Of Pergamon. Stoa was originally built in 150 BC. And that was my day.

After docking at Piraeus, the port for Athens we met our tour group and headed to the National Archeological Museum which boasts the richest collection of Greek antiquities in the world. Our guide had a wonderful understanding of history so we spent over an hour in this museum. We saw the Mask of Agamemnon and the statue of Poseidon.
