We left our hotel at 11am bound for Perpignan, something over an hour away. The day was dry, partly cloudy and mild, and outside of one minor patch of road flooding, and some inundated low lying fields, and fast flowing and dirty streams, we saw nothing of yesterday's mayhem. Les had decided that he quite fancied a curry during the early evening. A quick look on Google revealed a restaurant called The Punjab. It scored 4.8/5 on TripAdvisor and was only a couple of hundred yards away. The only problem was, it had closed in the past couple of weeks!

... a man hiring out little sailing boats for children to sail on the pond. It cost 3€ for 30 minutes. There was also a lovely open air cafe in the park under the trees. There was a beautiful building in the park, but I don't know what it was for. There weren't any signs around. ... you. One of the most interesting things was the primitive plumbing and drainage. Almost non existent. We've just found out that Air France has decided to extend their strike, we are able to get from Perpignan to Paris tomorrow, but then our flight from Paris to Manchester is cancelled.
