Sunny in Argeles

Another decent night at Collioure, dry and warm. Then a drive around and a look-see! Found the route to the fort on the cliff and one could stopover there, gratuit. Drove around a little and found one could also park at the 'gare' dans la centre Ville de Collioure, so we will, later after shopping and ...

... you can log in - if you remember to take the iPad with you! We walked our feet off yet again before heading back to the ship for lunch (it was docked right in town) and then headed back out to walk some more. The little beaches were not quite up to Aussie expectations as they were pebbly and grey colored but the locals were ...

After putting all our things inside we walked th 50 metres down the cobbled street to the ...

Our eyes are filled with color and motion, ears are numbed by the cacophony of noises. The first I love; the second, I can get to be overwhelming. Traffic , people and construction all make for a hugely noisy place. If Barcelona is loud, it is also beautiful and varied. It is truly ...

Perpignan - pleasant surprise

... called Bessan. Some miles inland and not on the tourist track, it was a quaint and quiet town. It's good to see a town that isn't based on tourism. We ate sandwiches and fruit in a small square in the town and then resumed our drive. The driving conditions were good and we travelled about the speed limit, up to 130kmh, and reached Perpignan a bit after 1.30pm. Our last toll cost 8 euro so the total would've been 40-50 euro. We had to fill the car up before dropping it off ...
