... Geneve. Instead the time was approaching closer to the departure of the train I needed to catch. As soon as I realized this my heart went into panic mode punching through my chest.
Finally the train screeched to a stop at Montpellier station at the exact time my next train was due to depart. I quickly grabbed my luggage and bolted off the train. Across the platform sat another train bustling with people hopping on and off. I said to a boy standing ...

Ferry back from Belaggio to Como was a lot quicker (and more expensive) and had some great views of the various places around the lake.
Back in Milan that night discovered the happy hour buffets that I'd read about - 6 Euro for a drink and all you can eat.
Buffet is nothing special, but ...
... even after all of the churches I've seen on this trip.
Went to the famous La Scala, but we couldn't go inside as they werehaving a rehearsal at the time and unlike the Vienna Opera House couldn't get cheap standing tickets for a performance and wander freely around the inside at the same time.
Wandered around town and stopped at what turned out to ...
... on the bottom bunk to the left!!! No Matter What! (okay fine I said that last bit to my self, but common people this is the very opportunity for me to be all Glass Half Full!)
I jumped off the train, hurled myself through the tunnel and up a hill to barrel myself
into the dark narrow office of Cinque Terre Holidays as quickly as my heavy laden
legs will allow, demanding they return my heart… I mean money belt!
The look of confusion ...
We arrived safe and sound in Milan after a relatively comfortable flight. There was almost no-one on the plane, so we were able to stretch out and sleep. It was luxurious! We didn't spend any time in Milan, because we will be returning at the end of our trip, so we might tour the city then. Instead we caught a train to Merano for some skiing and snowboarding.
Milan, Lombardy, Italy emily_and_marko... arrival and departure were in the same terminal...I'd run like hell if I had to...Well, it didn't turn out so well...we boarded the flight and sat at the terminal until about 4.15pm...The captain came on the PA system and apologized for the late departure, but said there was nothing he can do...Heathrow was stalling all flights out because GEORGE BUSH and AIR FORCE ONE were departing...Can you believe that...Ughhhh...Alas, there was not much I could do ...

... setting rather than at a bar, and the tables can be inside or outside, or both, generally both. You and your friends are seated, and a server takes your drink order. Whether you order a mug of the local beer, a flute of Mumm champagne, a glass of pinot grigio, or a bottle of acqua frizzante, the price is still usually six or seven euros. Your drinks come when the server brings them, which by American standards may ...
Milan, Italy matt.lawrence... told. Another lie as several subsequent attempts by others to call my number, sometimes while I was in the room as a test, failed to make the gizmo so much as twitch. And don't get me started on the pay phones in France (I'm getting ahead of myself here, but c'est la vie). They only accept a certain type of calling card, which is purchased at Tabac shops and the like, despite the insistence of signage inside the invariably roasting booths that major credit cards are, indeed ...
