I went down a rapid sans equipment, just using my life vest and holding my feet high out front to ensure that I wasn't going to get snagged on a rock, was great fun.

... out of town, we had to stop at a pastry and pancake house because we were drawn in by the two porches covered by gorgeous flowers - it was also a Christmas and leather shop. We sat on the porch and had coffee, and decided to come back another day for the pancakes, since we were on our way to Happy Hour at a dear friend of Neela's who invited us to her home.
