Frecciarossa back to Milan. Had enough of cities, though Bologna has character, and want to get out to country. Hotel breakfast ok- scrambled eggs and meatballs and big flat round bread loaves. I had asparagus risotto and an aperol spritz, which is the new trendy drink over here (not new but newly trendy) and Nim had chicken salad. After that we caught the tube to piazza del duomo and got gelato and sat in the sun watching ...

... look like they most likely grew up here in Italy and seem very much at ease. But I notice a passerby looking at them and then talking angrily on his phone. A few minutes later the police show up.

The police talk (politely it seems) to the guys, telling them they're not supposed to play volleyball in the park. Somehow I suspect that it wasn't the volleyball that got the caller angry, though...
