After breakfast, we discovered a little more around our hotel, it is abundant with restaurants and shops and it was just lovely to walk around.we then caught a tram up to via Palestro to go to the Galleria D'Arte Moderna, it was such a nice collection and barely a religious painting in sight. We just loved the many statues, so intricately carved, they ...

... in the car or the hotel in case we get hungry and don't feel like stopping or going out. Through the rest of Germany and all of Switzerland it was happy driving with beautiful views and easy going. Once I got into Italy, the drivers got a little crazier and Milan had big city traffic. I expected this an have experienced the same in almost all the major cities I have encountered anywhere. The worst was getting off ...

... I need to hit before I leave Bergamo Province: Treviglio. I did a quick walkaround here in 2010 when I was passing through with my wife and daughter while waiting for our train (we needed a stroller), and it wouldn't feel right to not come back and explore it properly. Nice historical core here, with a open air concert being set up in the ...
