So, my first solo vacation went off to a good start, up at 6:15am as per usual, made oatmeal from scratch, smiled at every pom as I skipped down the road and then quickly made animal balloons for the children's hospital before I hopped on the train... Okay maybe not. I did get up very early though. Bus from Fulham and a train from Clapham to the airport was smoothe sailing. Having already checked in online and upgraded to the speedy security check I had 2 1/2 hours to kill ...
