... is such a nice place to walk around. The new town is very busy with shoppers, and a quick walk up to the old town brings a much quieter environment, a lot less people, cafes and bars full, and lots of beautiful old building and no cars. Its like stepping back in time. One thing i have noticed is happy people everywhere. Must be christmas.

Have to pack up tonight as i am on a bus tomorrow to Plitvice national park. It departs at 10.30 so i do get to sleep in.

We took the shortest tram line (in the world?) to get to the Museum ...

... Walk - no, bus - no! Funicular Railway - Yes. Nice, easy, quick and cheap.
We then walked back to hotel ( after getting the Funicular) and saw lots of bars and cafés but nothing that was tempting to go back to for tea. We decided to have Dinner in the Bistro. This was a good choice - we shared an entree of Foie Gras with Peaches and Mango Chutney.
The waitress served it to us with a plate each - yum.
