    Shops in Malawi don't have much in them (except it seemed tomatoes, avocados and onions but the couple managed to produce lovely fresh pasta dishes which we enjoyed every evening with a glass (just the one) of wine...Lisa, white and Mark, red! So we felt spoilt. (Unfortunately no pictures of the wine drinkers!)

    ... in a few days, but its been really fun having so many people to go out with every night after a tiring day at hospital (still doing the 8-5!). Last week we STILL had no electricity or hot water, so we went out every night as can't really do much by candlelight. Unfortunately my bank balance is suffering now but ate some great food - a nice change from the staple Malawian diet of nsima, rice, bread, samosas, chips and fried chicken. We have all ended up craving vegetables, although when ...
