Hiked around the plateau for 3 hours and went to some waterfalls, the queens view and the emperors view but because of the mist I didn't have any view so that was a pity. However the surroundings were beautiful and I enjoyed the hiking routes and the quiet forests.

... weeks. Granted it took SB a little while to climb the 1400
meters up from the town centre to the top where we visited the Kwa
Chene Hotel for afternoon tea with the monkeys; quite literally; before heading into
the greenery of the forest to camp. I think when I get back I'm going
to start the a travel company showing people that there are so many
hidden treasures in Africa if only they are willing to go off the
beaten track!

... Birthday on the 14th. For those with eyes drawn to detail in text you will notice a period of about 3 weeks with little explanation. This is due to Tom and me departing ways for a short while to explore in our own areas, Tom staying in Malawi to see some friends and me hitching all the way back to Mozambique to meet again the many Peace Corps Volunteers and explore the north.
