... the Old Fort - no one could say how old it was but it was really beautiful and very reminiscent of Rajasthan architecture.

- The night bus started out okay but from 2am onwards, the roads became very bumpy and it was impossible to sleep after that point! The bus arrived in the small town of Dhar at 5:30am, dropping us off on the main road. From there, we walked a short distance down the road to the bus station to catch a local bus to the village of Mandu, home to some of India's finest examples of Afghan architecture!

... sarong cum scarf cum towel cum blanket to keep you warm... But alas it is nice to allow yourself a bit of luxury on occasion when traveling. I pulled the unlucky side slot as I was waiting list - it's not too bad height-wise (See! Being 5"1.5 comes in handy sometimes) but its so skinny that my bag took up half the space and then have to 'sit' on my bag ... So I had to sleep with my legs in the air on my bag ... Skysitting.
