Breakfast in the ghopri, a small building beside the pool. Fresh fruit, omelette and oat porridge and then a walk to Rehwa society and the Ahilya school. The 23hour train journey to Udaipur was split up by an over night stop in Indore. On arrival we were disappointed as it turned out to be another busy city lacking character or anything of interest to us, making us all the more eager to leave Madhya ...

... hadn't eaten for a week before going there. The tables all had those barbecue inserts and being India, a lot of it was vegetarian. The waiters made sure there was some which was less spicy for our western tastebuds and it was all amazing.

We were so busy tucking in to our kebabs and other things they served, we had completely forgotten this was just the starters! we were full to bursting all ready and we still had more to go. Oh no!!!

Well we waited a bit and ...
