... the city more than I could in this little blurb.

After Cannes we took a day trip to Marseilles. Not much went on here as we were simply waiting for our plane to Amsterdam!

      ... that held her interest.
I was well under way with cooking the snags, the chops and the steak by the time they got back and Lin whipped up a salad to go with it. We had a lovely lunch out in the shade near the barbie.
After that, we motored down to Cannes with the intention of popping over to Saint-Tropez for a swim but, when I punched that destination into the GPS, I discovered it was going to be a drive of about 80kms so we decided to find ...

      Cannes: A town with glamour

      ... the streets!

Alright, so the bus drops us off in one of those very narrow streets which are very typical of small European towns. This one has a lot of activity from the start, with boulangeries, shops, and people walking up and down non-stop! We followed the street until arriving to la Croisette, the main avenue that runs next to the beach, and where the main 5 star hotels of Cannes and fashion boutiques like Louis Vatton ...
