      This morning the Navman wasn't working.
      It was saying 'no maps can be detected'. We didn't use our kind words with it when it took us to Florence the other night, and now it seemed to be sulking and on strike.
      We had to resort to reading signs on the road (not our drivers preferred navigation method) and we were considering getting the road atlas out that Roy & Jo lent us.

      ... fort.... This is a magical place, so we just had to return again for the wonderful evening we knew it would be.....
      Cannes just has to be visited, and very glamorous it must be during the film festival, but apart from some beautiful older and very elegant hotels, expensive shopping and equally expensive restaurants, It seemed to lack the charm of the smaller towns.....

      ... from the holy city of Canterbury in England. There was a range of services available in addition to food and shelter and the monastery even ran to its own morgue so that those searching for missing relatives might have a place to start. Two of the monastery buildings are still in the pass, although both date from the Middle Ages, and there are some dogs kept there in the summer for the tourists.
