... close to the beach as possible. The sea was dotted with jet skis, water skiers, kite surfers and dinghy boats. Closer to the beach, we obviously started a trend as there were lots of people pier jumping.

The afternoon was hot and we stayed in the apartment till three pm with Kit doing some science revision, Anne reading and the girls playing on the iPads. When we ventured out, the heat was just beginning to ease. The beach was heaving with families, ...

... had lunch and spent the afternoon playing in the pool which included a fun game of 'Pool Boule', genius! Following this came some obligatory beer pong before a yummy BBQ! Next was some wine and beer fuelled Mah Jong, we didn't really have a clue what we were doing but I seem to remember there 'pretty's' and some singing on mine and Lauren's team! I felt a little fragile the next day and the trying ...
