    ... to get control of her own stuff. As she is downstairs/upstairs/downstairs -- I am sitting at the topside table in candlelight blogging about my last day (:-(:-(:-( on Milena, for this year. What a grand adventure I have had, and how blessedly spoiled I have been. Thank you Jacques, Marina and Milena.... You always make all my dreams come true, while being lavishly spoiled!!     ... fort.... This is a magical place, so we just had to return again for the wonderful evening we knew it would be.....
    Cannes just has to be visited, and very glamorous it must be during the film festival, but apart from some beautiful older and very elegant hotels, expensive shopping and equally expensive restaurants, It seemed to lack the charm of the smaller towns.....

    ... Might go back there again. The French lifestyle is pretty good here. All shops close between 12 and 3 pm, with only bars, cares and restaurants open, so for three hours each day you can only eat, drink and gossip! Sounds perfect fit the ladies! Friday - time seems to have slowed down here. Up late. Tony and Elaine off to the Gorges du Verdon today. We'll reserve that pleasure for when James arrives.     At one point, a hoon in a BMW sportscar went flying past us at about a hundred miles-an-hour (or that's what it felt like). I don't know what he was going to do if he encountered any traffic coming the other way.

    ... there we went to Galimard where they make perfume from the essences. The next hour was a sensory overdrive. Perfume is made up of three notes, one that is smelled immediately and is fresh and fun, but runs out after about 15 minutes of wear. The second stays on for about an hour and the base note is the one that smells the longest. There were probably 200 bottles of essence to chose from, and the ladies that worked there helped us ...
