    ... most/least pretentious cocktail bar in the port, we enjoyed a GnT or 2 people watching. A very relaxing pastime before finding somewhere not too lumpy to eat. Our pigeon French vocab improving at a glacial pace, our friendly waiter entertained us and 'parteger' starter and mains arrived, were eaten, and enjoyed.     ... 12kms down the motorway and pay a toll to boot and then have to turn around and have to drive back down the other side and pay the toll again. I'm a slow learner!
    We came back home, I watched the Wimpleton (Queensland spelling) gentlemen's final on the telly then had some aperetifs with some of those deli items I bought at the market - oh, and some nice red I bought at the local cave vin the other day.
