Last day here. We are going to the caves this morning and then having paella for lunch, so keen to finally have some traditional Spanish food. Last night dinner was quite good, we went to a restaurant and had muscles which were so yum! Also some fish soup which was strange but good. It's sunny here today and looks like a beautiful day. Let's see how the day pans out ...

The ...

After a night in the French Alps we decided to push on and get to Spain, we started the day 9degrees and raining hard, eventually arriving in Spain at 4.45pm with the sun and 18degrees, a lovely way to finish the day... Both tired after a long week we had hot showers and enjoyed a nice meal and a ...

The intensity and concentration of the race soon faded as we transitioned to holiday mood, relaxed our concentration and felt the pain in our quads gradually diminish. The group split up, some to return home to family and work, and those of us with more time, Terry, Dave and I to meet our wives and significant others (Cathy, Irene and Meggie) plus Adrian and Vada in Barcelona and continue in a more holiday style - a ...
