    One of the endearingly infuriating habits of my husband (hello dear!) is that we never stay in a hotel without moving rooms once. Or twice. The first room is too noisy ( despite having pre-requested the quietest room at the back) or perhaps it is too light or too near the lift.     This is when the pain starts to set in. I thought I was pretty fit when I booked this tour and I had done more riding this spring than I have in many years but nothing prepared me for how sore I was getting.
