... there were actually two separate H&Ms on the street in Nice, and we had marched straight into the menswear one! But don't despair: we followed the attendants directions and found the womenswear one we were looking for. ... there early enough, the beige stone walls of all of the buildings glow orange which would be pretty special to see.

Our next stop in Roussillon was equally stunning. The town is in the same area as Gordes but surrounded by rocks, which range in colour from deep red to a yellow. The buildings and their tiled roofs are also red which is very picturesque.

... the walls. The structures were surprisingly complex, especially the bathing areas. The public baths had 4 or 5 rooms, a heating and ventilation system, and an area with running water to remove human waste. The 4 or 5 rooms were a specific order of a cold water room, hot water, and sauna. I don't remember what the 4th and 5th rooms were for.

After that I headed over to the Matissi museum, but they closed ...
