Blessed with one last day of perfect weather and end-of-trip fitness, I took care of business in short order. I noticed a large quarry at La Grave on the way down which escaped my notice last year, and same with a herd of goats on the way up. The only photo I took at the top was a close-up of the sign.

Seeing that the train station was only a 7 minute walk from our hotel we decided that it
would be a good idea to walk there as oppose to taking a taxi (the last time we took a taxi in Marseille we were taken for a ride and the taxi driver did a couple laps around the hotel before dropping us off!).
