... the beach (recommended by the guide books) was a winner with the boys had the last 2 portions of moules frites practically licking the pan clean!! We splashed out on the menu du jour and had no regrets - as you can see from the photos. We're hoping the olive oil and regular swims will avoid expanding waist lines. ... inflatable as you're dragged behind a speedboat over the waves and wake. We all really enjoyed it and some of the noises Angus was making made falling off from laughing inevitable. Afterwards we all agreed we were totally drained and starving so we headed back to Nice for some lunch, Binning forgot his towel on the beach and only realised when we were basically at the station, a ten minute walk from the beach. By this time we were getting hungry and went down to the old town to grab a bite to eat and check out some shops. I picked up some nice 'Made in France' soaps. The taxi driver from last night told us there was a Hop on/off bus that would take us on a good tour of the city - they are a great way to sightsee quickly. Started walking in the direction he told us last night - on the way we found a confectionary shop/factory so we did a little tour through it with a bit of a taste test at the end. Yum We were tempted to purchase but didn't think the chocolate would stand the heat ...
