... so beautiful. (I no pictures of this since I forgot my camera, but I am sure to be back soon to explore this area more!) Today is the first day of class, which at first was kind of hectic because I didn't realize that there was a meeting instead of actual classes for incoming students in the arts faculty, but thankfully I was not alone in this boat, and got to meet a few more people. ... was ok, but none of my Barnard friends were in it. The next day we went to a center that makes human towers, a strange cultural tradition in Barcelona. We had a fun time making the towers and playing with the little children!

So far the week has been tons of fun and I am learning so much!

This area is also very popular with rock climbers. Some of the group decided to do a small walk of a about 2 km down the mountain. By all accounts it turned out to be quite an adventure (picture Indiana Jones slicing through ...

... a wine tasting. Those of us that didn't walk met at 10am and strolled around the picturesque medieval town of Mont Blanc for a couple of hours. We really enjoyed the walk around the town. Zaida had arranged for a taxi to pick us up at 12.30 and take us to the Milmanda Estate to join the rest of the group for lunch. It should have taken about 15 minutes but the taxi driver got lost and it took us about 30 minutes to arrive. We had a beautiful lunch of cheeses ...
