... nights musical meal of Ansbach Sausage and Sauerkraut!!!!. The Hotel Zum Lamm was a great little guest house (run by a chirpy ex pat Turk) with tiled floors, a little wood panelled breakfast room and net curtains. Clean and just perfect for a one night stop. ... distance from Vienna! Arrived in Vienna, got ourselves settled then downstairs to meet the group for a walk to get ourselves orientated! We stopped for a bite to eat at an outside cafe!! It started to sprinkle so the cafe put up awnings between the umbrellas! We walked back to the hotel, had a nightcap then off to bed! ... the castle was modified in the Baroque and the Rococo style. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily so sightseeing was a little restricted but along with Grant & Saeko we went across the foot bridge from the town and climbed up to the castle. This was well worth the effort as views of the town from the castle walls ...

We love this resort so much that we decided to stay another day and night. The photos of Pocatky were taken from a 16th. century bell tower. We were inside at 12 noon but the bells didn't ring. Thank goodness.

One of the joys of a European tour is what my father used to call a "continental breakfast". Or as we say in German, Fruhstuck.
