      ... left late & ate up 14 mins. So we only had 2 mins to make the connection. Believe me it was just like in amazing race, as we made the 100 yard dash, at a sprinters pace to make the connection. Marilyn was about 30 yards behind as I got to the train. She was worried that I was going to leave her behind. Would I do that?

      So today was an example of how wonderful my husband Craig really is. Many years ago in 1983 when we Eurailed our way around Europe our train stopped at a pretty place called Zell am See in Austria. We were going to Salzburg and Craig said at the time – let's go back and have a look at this town one day. So it was on his bucket list.       We finally wandered back out of the old town around 8:00 and headed back up to the restaurant we ate at the first night in Salzburg called Bausto. Because the waiter indicated it may rain tonight we ate inside. Cheryl had the Tyrloean dumplings (as selected by the waiter), I had the same pizza and salad and we each order a Trumer Pils beer, the award winning yummy beer.

      ... around a small mountain and almost doubled back on itself.

      From there we took a side road, with more switchbacks, up to the Edelweiss-Spitze. This was the highest point on the road at 2571 meters. There were 360 degree views, and even a restaurant with a Zimmer (i.e. rooms you could rent).
