... is made and distributed in Switzerland - not sure if I like knowing that Cheese lasts for a year or not, but it was still quite awesome bc we ate lunch here and everything was full of awesome cheese!

It has been a great start so far - our program has 33 students from all over and it has been fun getting to know everyone and seeing how University life differs in Europe from the U.S!

... had to change trains it was snowing really hard but our train to Chur (my favourite station name so far) was early so we only had to wait for a few minutes. When we got to Chur for lunch to meet with Michela, Gianluca and baby Rosa. Not far across the Swiss border was a tiny country which is entirely enveloped by the Alps. Liechtenstein offered some of the best views of life in the Alps that we had seen! Every mountain pass presented towering rock faces with rolling meadows carpeted in lush green grass beneath. Small cottages dotted the landscape and every village seemed to be mesmerizingly trapped in time.

Day 282 2 hrs, 5 kms Dalais is another peaceful little village, built partly in the valley floor, and partly up the grassy slopes.
