This week the first wintery Cold front passed true Switzerland and dumped up 70 cm show in some Areas. ... br> Had a great time with both families...the kids were great with Max and everyone got along so well.
We didn't get back to Rapperswill until late....ate a good dinner (Christoph is a great cook!), did some repacking and said our good byes. They both had to leave for work early the next day.
Shane and I found the train...made our way to Zurich and then Geneva. One night at the Airport hotel then twenty hours in transit home.

This tiny country is most famous for selling postage stamps, and the fact that almost every European tour operator includes a few minutes here so they can boast of another country visited. ... not adhering to the reboarding times, we commenced our 2 hour drive back to Zurich along Lake Walen, at the foot of the Churfirsten mountain range. Although late, Marcello requested the driver to make an unplanned 5 minute stop so we could see and photograph Lake Walen's beautiful scenery. Yet again, the same people were late reboarding the bus.
